I
think a site for the late 70s early 80s is a great idea. That
in some ways was a time that has been lost, in terms of tradition,
creativity and the general "cool"scene MCC was. - Prince

Yeah
, I do agree that we need a site which will be a place for all
to share their Biz interests.....!!!!......and also a place to
chill.... Surprisingly we too have guys allover the world doing
very well , and in all quarters of the biz world, political ....etc.
The
site will need to be " Brainstormed " like how we did
the DEEP WOODS....... guess we need to get to the CAFE & into
the GUTTERS...of course with.... Babu

I
was thinking of the Gutters / Café for a chat room, Graffiti
for the BB, Arts/Science Blocks for the Registry, Post Office
for asp mail, Bodh Tree for banters, Macphails/ Anderson for Event
posting etc- Muralikrishnan

I
quite like the contents that you suggest. If we are able to get
good amount of server space, may be we can include some old photos
with titles and names of people, I am sure everyone has at least
a couple from those times. Of course you can be choosy. I have
a lovely black and white with about a dozen of my classmates with
Gift. I will write more suggestions as and when the light shines
! The campus pic on the homepage however should be circa 80. -

......like
the one you are suggesting may be a wonderful idea - but please
make it clear that we are online only to nostalgiate and have
a great walk down memory lane (without censorship on words like
'stoned' and 'gutter') and not air old grudges and grievances!!

The
names for exmcc is a difficult task. Try to remember a few spots
which were popular through out our time in college. Some names
which I thought of was..... Vijayann

How
about 'THEN' and 'NOW' pictures of everybody ( that would be hilarious).
Looking at your group pictures I did not recognize half of you.

Let's
take this forward, we need a bunch of about 5 or 6 committed guys
to work together , brainstorm and drive it. After a while it'll
evolve , no snowball, by itself, knowing the blighters from Tambaram

can vaguely remember the first deepwoods as we went around collecting
funds and ads.that was the start of the Mcc cultural fest which
today is much awaited in colleges all over India. -
