I had been thinking for sometime then....why not a unique Website for the Class of 81 MCC ?

I coordinated the Class of '69 IIT Madras Alumni bash sometime back at Chennai and that's what triggered the thought-process. That was when I was inspired to do something similar for ourselves. Apart from the fun and fanfare, the IIT do saw several Biz deals struck and transacted right there. These friends realised that they could not only bring quality into each other's lives by connecting back, but that they could also enrich each other's careers and businesses.
My Company, Quicksilver VoHo creates Themed T-shirts for IITM and in the process I meet up with lotsa Alumni. Seems they have a whopping 1 lakh members. Gosh, I thought ! MCC ought to have at least half that kinda numbers.

What started with a simple post on various Alumni sites, seems to be gaining a terrific momentum, all its own, and here we are, heading for a late 70s early 80s (78-83) kinda setup. Something like MCC-around-the-turn-of-80. Expanded much beyond the scope of the Class of 81 concept.

This beta site went online of September 15th 2003. I've been in touch with various ppl about this and am getting some great inputs and nostalgia. I think with all our Legendary MCC creative talents pooled in, we can create a mind-boggling site. Waddyusay?

This site will not be just about nostalgia and trips down the memory lanes. It will also offer space for friends to productively interact with each other in terms of service, creativity and support exchanges.

Do use the setup to brainstorm and give us your Suggestions, Inputs and share your Creativity in general.

You could refer www.deepwoods80.org as the URL of this site to other XMCC in your contact book and avoid a long description of what is happening. Life's that easy here.

Cheers.
